Short on content, long on frustration, this set of five activities disappointed test kids and reviewers alike. Based on the upcoming animated film, Atlantis The Lost Empire, the program serves up four games and one picture-viewing activity. The latter is simply a throw-in, where kids can look at and print pictures from the film. The activities include a rather dull Submergency Urgency, which asks kids to pilot a sub pod through treacherous waters (read: obstacle course). Other games include a clever but difficult roadblock game where players must strategically choose the correct vehicle to break through various obstacles on the way to Atlantis. Kids found the steering of these trucks- via the arrow keys- difficult. Children also found the Machine Arena jousting game frustrating in that once they created their customized vehicle, it was hard to control. - Amazon.com
