CompatibilityYou are a peasant from a small village that lies in the shadow of Drakmyth Castle. The evil sorcerer has put a curse on your village. A deadly plague is slowly killing all of the villagers as well as the cattle and sheep. An elderly chemist, who was also a minor wizard, was able to create a serum to cure the deadly plague. However, before the antidote could be given to the people, the evil sorcerer killed the elderly chemist and stole the serum. He now keeps it with him behind the dark walls of Drakmyth Castle.
Your six older brothers have died trying to get the serum. You are the only one left in the village with strength enough to venture into Drakmyth Castle and battle the creatures that live there. You are the only hope left for the village! You must retrieve the serum, escape Drakmyth Castle and return to the village. It's up to you!! Good Luck!

Mount the images on vMac / Mini vMac (Read below).
I got disk one to work just fine using the Classic environment (OS9) on my iMac. But disk two won't open at all. It will appear in the dock, but when I click on it in the dock, it disappears.
Can anyone offer any help? Thanks.
Yeah, that's how I move anything to Mini vMac in OS 9.2.2... I keep a disk image for booting up and another one labeled "TRANSFER" or "SHARED" and just open it up on the 9.2 desktop and copy whatever files I want in there, then drag the image to the trash and open up Mini vMac and mount the image there as a second image. I usually keep it at 40MB or so since that's big enough to handle anything I would likely want on an emulated Mac Plus!
Mini vMac can only read DiskCopy 6.3.3 images if they are not compressed, though.
EDIT: Also I've noticed that Mini vMac can open a "read-only uncompressed" disk image, but will treat it as write-enabled. You won't notice until later when you try to mount it on the desktop with DiskCopy 6.3.3 and the checksum will be wrong and it won't mount.
Followup: The image contained in this archive CAN be mounted in Mini vMac.
I don't know what sort of image it is, but it can be mounted in Mini vMac. Good to know!!
No. Actually it probably cannot. Or more accuratly: I have no idea!
I did what I usually do and opened the archive in Basilisk II and copied the contents over to a hard disk image that I accessed in Mini vMac.
I'm not such a big fan of the archives I find here and just do it that way all the time.
So vMac/Mini vMac can read Disk Copy 6.3 images. I didn't know that. Thanks for your help, watchsmart.
I just copy all of the files in the archive over to one big hard disk image. No need to switch disks at all. It's really just two separate games.
And how I'm supposed to run disk two on vMac? I can't put it in a virtual disk because it's 1.6 MB. Disk Copy/DiskDup+ images can't hold more than 1.4 MB. Something's fishy here...
It works just fine in System 6. These World Builder games don't often work in anything later than that.
The second disk appears as a generic application icon. When I open it, it freezes the machine. I'm using Mac OS 9. Have anybody else experienced this problem?
