Gerbils is a 3D realtime rollercoaster simulator. You are a little gerbil and you race around trying not to get killed. Technically, this is isn't a game. But, you can edit the tracks and it is a lot of fun.

Make sure you download Quickdraw 3D first (as it's need in order to run Gerbils)

In order to run this in Sheepshaver, a 3D acceleration extension is needed (which is included in a Matrox installer (downloaded off the FTP of Matrox)).

I collected some 3DMF models back in the days, so if you like to set something else on track, you want the second download. Included is a QT3D SimpleText for viewing the models.

This is a fun little application Apple commissioned to Pangea Software to show the capabilities of the then new QuickDraw 3D technology. The requirements are wrong, though. I got my copy with the System Restore CD of my Performa 6400, so it's compatible with Mac OS 7 as well.
