YW. I used to enjoy this one on my Quadra 630 back in the day when both were new.
The name for this game is "Invaders!" as opposed to "Invaders" - I think perhaps its in the context of "Alarm! Alarm! We are under attack by creatures from Outer-Space! - Invaders!"
Its based on Ingemar's Invaders demo from the SAT tool kit.
An excerpt from the Space Invaders! 1.1 read me doc:
I downloaded SAT tool kit by Ingemar Ragnemalm (thank you Ingemar!), it is a sprites library to simplify writing games, and with it I found a invaders demo, eventually when I had some days (and nights) free I worked on it and I turned it in a complete game. Space Invaders is the result.
In the Invaders! 2.0 Read Me doc, the aboves last sentence is changed to "Invaders! is the result."
Originally called "Space Invaders" the name was later changed to Invaders! (version 1.2), for copyright reasons.
From the Invaders! 2.0 read me doc:
7. VERSION HISTORY
-1.0.§: first release running only on color capable macs
-1.1 : added b/w capability
-1.2 : fixed some minor bugs. Name turned to "Invaders!" in order to respect Atari copyright on "Space Invaders" name.
-2.0 : major revision:

I can't find this title at Ingemar's page:
http://www.lysator.liu.se/~ingemar/games/
I think this must not be the same title as Slime Invaders,
which is a Mini vMac game.
Most probably this entry belongs to either this game, here in version 2.0:

or, version 1.1, this one:
