Download phonicsages46.iso_.sit (181.13 MB)
For System 7.0 - 7.6 - Mac OS 9
Emulation
This game works with: SheepShaver,
Compatibility

Don't worry-- the white block patches that occur during the Maple Leaf Rag intro will finish directly after, and nothing else like that happens during playing it.

Very glad to have helped! : ) No one should be without Rhyme-a-Rooey in their life.

Sorry for not being clear. I unstuffed the file on my emulated Mac, then transferred it over to my physical Windows PC (using HFVExplorer). Something went wrong during the transfer process, as the file size grew and it gained the .txt extension. What I should have done (and eventually did) was:
1. Enable My Computer in SheepShaver
2. Open up the My Computer thing in SheepShaver
3. Navigate to the folder where the .SIT file was
4. Unstuff it without transferring the file
Then I would have the correct .ISO image on my physical computer, and I'd be able to mount it at any time.
HomeStarRunnerTron, thank you so much for uploading the .ISO on Mega. I really appreciate it.
EDIT: It seems that it doesn't matter anymore whether an ISO image is marked as read-only or not; I have an ISO image of a different game that isn't marked as read-only, and it mounts and runs just fine.

Yes, I tried renaming it. Didn't work.

Hi, I downloaded the SIT again, and it was perfectly fine, just like the dude said. I extracted it using http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver.html <-- The Unarchiver, in-case that's not what you use.

I'm trying to upload the ISO straight to MEGA right now!

@Headset Guy: The Top DL archived here on this page is fine. Something went wrong with your DL, as I have just tested this as being 100% OK. You don't mention what platform you are running, or version of Stuffit being used by you, etc.

The .sit archive above is a Stuffit version 5.5 and above compatible archive, it extracts to a file named "PhonicsAges46.iso". The .iso mounts fine in SheepShaver (requires locking the .iso before mounting - if you don't want Mac OS on SheepShaver to write to the mounted CD image).

Once mounted & getting info on the CD, it reports - Created: Thu, Jun 18, 1998 - Modified: Tue, Jul 07, 1998. It works perfectly.

Hey-- I really like 4Shared, but I'll go put it on MEGA. Did you try re-naming it as an ISO, just on a whim?

by Headset Guy - 2015, January 19 - 10:52pm

Something is very wrong here. I un-stuffed it, but for some reason it was a text file, not an iso image. When I changed the extension, SheepShaver couldn't read it. The external download is an iso image, but it's 4shared. This was my first time using 4shared, and I immediately hated it. First I had to say I wanted a regular download. Then I had say it again. Then it asked me to either create an account or sign in with social media; no way am I doing either of those things. Please consider putting the iso image on a different website (Mediafire, Dropbox, Mega...)
