Yes, that's about the only kind of software where I prefer using my native language instead of English : the OS (be it Os7/8/9, Windows or any Unix flavor)
@mathieudel:
Are you using a French OS?
That's true ! Looking at game's resource fork, we can see that several languages or present : US/FR/IT/SP/DE
That's the first example of application I see that uses the resource fork for what they were (partly) meant : easy localisation !
It's definitely running in English on my System. Not a hint of French anywhere in it! Other games are running in French, however.
Either the game I uploaded is smart enough (considering its era) to select its language at runtime, or you're wrong here : it's in French too.
You're right ! Kalisto's games are usually quite good/cool, but badly implemented and full of bugs, maybe because they used to be coded close to the metal (to quote Nicolas Gaume's words from http://www.agoravox.fr/actualites/economie/article/nicolas-gaume-un-homm...).
Edit: Replaced 'xxx 7' with 'Mac OS 7' - IIGS User
Fury of the Furries is in English!
As cool as Kalisto's software is, most of this stuff causes lots of problems with later operating systems, so it's probably best to stick with Mac oS 7 for these games.
Edit: Replaced 'xxx 7' with 'Mac OS 7' - IIGS User
Appart from both demos, yes !
Sont-ils tous en français?
Are these all in French?
Thanks, mathieudel!
