This is Apple's guided tour for using a Mac SE.
The image is not made from an original disk but from free floating files.
The included System 4.1 does not seem to boot Mini vMac.
The tour can be run by opening the Tour Folder and double clicking Tour Engine.
This procedure unfortunately spoils the instructions about pointing and clicking.
If somebody has the original disk, please upload.

@24bit: I wouldn't want to remove this. They are different in the sense one specifically boots up on an SE (has a vers. 4.1 System) and the other will boot up on a Mac Plus (has a vers. 4.0 System). There might be other differences in there too. That - and its the only Mac SE Tour we have
Mike youre right, I´m afraid. The Tour is absolutely the same.
As your upload is the earlier and unmodified, I wont mind if the admins delete this item.
This is really neat.
Meanwhile, the Mac GUI Vault has a bunch more of this sort of thing:

Looks very similar to the Mac Plus Tour. Not too surprising I guess, as the SE was the natural progression in that Macintosh family.
Possibly it would boot up to this - but only if it was a Mini vMac variant running off an SE ROM.
Was there a System 4.1? I thought that there was a jump from 2.x direct to 5.x? (I could be wrong of course) - Finder 4.1 perhaps?
[Edit] This Wikipedia page explains it (I just don't get it), there is a System version 4.1 but it belongs to System Software version 2.0.1 ... groans... only Apple could come up with this

Note to self - must bookmark that Wikipedia page for future reference/arguments
Did Susan Kare do the graphics?
