Some new experience, missed in my posting in the bottom:
If I set the emulated screen size to 800 x 600 (you could probably set it higher) instead of 640 x 480, the game runs within SheepShaver.

But it is still recommended to run this game in fullscreen mode, because the Mac OS mouse pointer is a bit beside of the game's telescopic sight pointer.

Running this game in SheepShaver on the Mac OS X PowerPC Mac worked in Fullscreen only.
Now, on an Intel based MacBook, this game doesn't run in SheepShaver (the only emulator capable for this PowerPC game), at least for me.
