"Welcome to Mean City", also called "Mean City - is your English good enough?", is a criminal adventure game. The key to solve this game is your English knowledge, some subtitles are written in German.

The town Mean City is dominated by terrorists. No one here understands fun. Fires in department stores are on the daily agenda. The culprit named Jinx plans more bad things.
Only the player can help and save Mean City:
With this mix of comic adventure and movie, everyone wants to learn English. Because to solve the case and maintain the city before the explosion of a bomb happens, very much English must be spoken. The user reaches Mean City by plane and needs to talk to taxi drivers, hoteliers and all other sorts of people he meet in the town. Who is bitchy at a police control point risks to be jailed soon. The comic passages are very presentable. All lyrics are spoken in English, from time to time a German translation will be shown. When the above-mentioned policeman asks for the ID card, the player have to drag the comic-drawn pass directly into the hands of the officer.
Money, a phrase book, a telephone and traveller checks belongs to the inventory.

For me, the intro movie runs better in Bas (but the game will pause forever after the intro movie) .
The game itself runs better in Sheep, but has not displayed the intro movie.
