"Over the Reich is a turn-based strategy/flight simulator hybrid."
Download updates here
"It takes place during World War II, and you can fly for either the German Luftwaffe, the Royal Air Force, or the USA Air Force. There is a campaign mode and plenty of single missions to keep you occupied. On the harder skill levels it's just like a normal first person flight simulator, with banks, stalls, altitude, etc, except in a turn-based world." --Mobygames.com

Thanks, I've done that in the past as well.
I don't think 7z can be extracted on Classic. But how many people exclusively use Classic anymore? The alternative is a split download that's 100MB larger.
I'll play safe and upload the stuffit segments with .sit appended to the ends.
Aaand.. they're up now. Just rename them to OvertheReich.sit.1 and OvertheReich.sit.2 and extract.
File name ends with .1, .2 and so on? Just add another .sit (depends on original extension) to the file name to get it uploaded.
Someone who knows, can 7z be extracted in Classic Mac OS versions?
Ok I found it again. Stuffed it's 480MB, too big to upload here.
If I segment it the site won't accept the file extensions. So do I upload both segments with .zip extensions appended or will a 7z archive do? 7zip with ultra compression gets it down to 383MB and so can be uploaded in one file.
Well, the free filehosting situation was a lot different 2 years back when I uploaded it.
I'll remove the MU link now and upload the game to the site once I can find where I put it.
Alright! That did it!
I strongly, strongly encourage you to upload that particular package here with a tutorial.
Again, thanks!
This is what I use on Windows. It's just the Expander, DropStuff and engine files from the old Stuffit 7 installer. Run Expander, drop the first segment onto it and it will join the segments and expand.
I'm certain I've done just that, with no success afterwards. I've tried this with both standard Stuffit Expander as well as Stuffit Deluxe on the emulator with 5.5/5.5.1. I've not yet had a chance to try this with Stuffit 2009 on an actual Macintosh, which may make a difference. Stuffit 2011 for Windows only asks to compress the files, not re-join them. By all accounts, this is the most obnoxious, PITA batch-filing system I've dealt with to date.
...I tried to get onto the site's IRC channel, but that wasn't very successful, either. Barring direct communication, here's a screenshot of the desktop and the files. If you can spot something wrong, and indicate the correction, that might just do the trick:

Make sure all segments are in the same directory, and drag-and-drop the first one onto Stuffit Expander 5.5 or later.
Thanks for the hint about the Old Mac Archive - the external link wasn't working in any browser I tried it in.
EDIT: Because I'm a bit green in this field, how do I combine or merge .sit files together into one? The files on OMA are broken up into three parts.
It's over 400 MB; too big for the site. There's an external download link, and I've got it at the Old Mac Archive as well.
The only download here is for the demo - could someone upload the full game?
Yeah I've been looking for FCII as well. But no luck as yet.
Should have added that there are FCII demos on this CD as well.
Thanks, Protocol 7! Have you searched for Flight Commander II by any chance? I haven't been able to find it for download. Also I think we need a pdf manual for Achtung Spitfire, if anyone knows where to find one.
Added the full CD and a scanned copy of the manual
(Not my work, found elsewhere)
I really liked achtung spitfire, does anyone have the full version of this?
