A hybrid between RPGs, interactive fiction, and the Mac GUI. The only game Infocom published exclusively for Macintosh.

Hello I am having an issue trying to load this game on mini vmac , can someone please give me a hand

So the game will run for me on Basilisk but I get no sound and the images of items in my inventory and also the maps in the game do not work. Can anybody help me out here? Is there a file missing from this archive? Any help would be VERY appreciated. This is one of the 2 games I installed these emulators to play.

This looks interesting. I knew it was released by Infocom in their twilight years (owned by Activision at this point), and sales were low, so it was never ported to other machines. And when the game's hero can carry both a broadsword and half a dozen pretzels, well, I can't turn that down.
