Railroad Tycoon II is a railroad simulation that covers the history of railroads from the late 1700s to the 2000s. The player assumes the role of the chairman in a railroad company, trying to make profits for the investors (often but not necessarily including the player themself) and completing various other objectives while being hindered by rival companies, train breakdowns and train robbers.
Most of the gameplay consists of building tracks, stations and trains, which are used for hauling goods from one station to another. Money received from hauling is determined by the distance between the two stations, the demand and value of the delivered goods, station improvements and the difficulty level.

The Gold edition includes Railroad Tycoon II, expansion pack Railroad Tycoon II: The 2nd Century and 12 new scenarios. There was also a Platinum edition released for Windows. If you're interested in this game, check out this site: http://theterminal.dune2k.com/
PopTop Software made this game and it was ported to Macintosh by Westlake Interactive.
Here are the system requirements for this game:
Mac OS 7.5.3
PowerPC 132≤ MHz
16 MiB RAM
4x CD ROM
800 x 600 display and video card
130 MB hard disk space (230 MB for Gold edition)
This game works great in Classic although I think you should give it 128 MB RAM or at least 64. Haven't tested it in SheepShaver yet.

Reuploaded RT2 Gold to the MG server and cleaned up the old link. Enjoy
Put them on RapidShare and I will transfer them to my account there, and post more permanent links here
I still have the files. To where should I upload them? Been away from the Garden for almost half a year.
someone just needs to upload it again but use a hosting site that doesn't have any government swine eying it up for piracy law infringement
pretty please sir!
T-1000, be sure you're hitting the save button immediately underneath "log message," not the save button all the way down underneath the comments. I don't know if that's what you're doing, but it's a common mistake.
Added new download links and some information.
