Raptor is an arcade-style jet-fighter game. Blast and maneuver your F-22 to the next level. Collect power-ups to revive your ship's integrity and to increase your ship's weapon power. Some levels require you to destroy a boss before continuing, others only require survival. Play by the golden rule: shoot anything and everything that moves.
Raptor was programmed for the uDevGame contest in the fall of 2002. It won first place for sound and music due to its original soundtrack by Miyaka Cochrane.
Lead developer Holmes Futrell wrote a postmortem for idevgames.com.
(v1.0.4)
CompatibilityCompatible with Mac OS 8.6 and higher with CarbonLib (also needs OpenGL).
It can be booted up in SheepShaver, but goes WAY too slow.

Still, though. It looks fun! I love shoot-em-ups like this! Thanks for making it and letting MG host it, Holmes!
Hello!
Wow, thanks for posting this! I'm the original author, and before coming here I didn't think anybody still had a working copy of this game.
Looking back at this project it's a little embarrassing though ... but hey, I was 16 at the time!

EDIT: The file has been fixed.
@kataetheweirdo:
The resource forks are there; read my comment on the forum for instructions on reassembling. Note that you need OS X for that method. I've played it and it WORKS great!
That's the problem; The .sit I uploaded is more or less so temporary. The files have lost their resource forks and I need those forks restored somehow.
EDIT The fixed file is now up.
Hows this supposed to work? Theres no application icon or anything. Juts looks like a command prompt file...
Thx.
