The year is 1799, and you play a United States Navy officer sent on a mission to retrieve the U.S.S. Golden Dolphin from pirate hands. You must find clues regarding the ship's whereabouts and infiltrate it as a sailor, as well as find a way to take it out of the pirate's control -- all while the French and U.S. Navys are duking it out in the West Indies. Gameplay consists of a first-person point-and-click Myst-style adventuring. Visuals consist of pre-rendered and digitized characters and objects over static backgrounds. Most of the gameplay revolves around solving item-related puzzles and interacting with characters for the gathering of clues (MobyGames).
