Short circuit is a tile matching strategy puzzler. Clear the board of tiles within the time limit across 33 levels within 8 different worlds. Within each world, the tiles will behave differently.

To remove tiles, there must be an un-obstructive path between them, described as a 'circuit'. The circuits may only contain two 90° angles so you must plan ahead to make sure that matching tiles are not left cut off or blocked from each other.

If you muck up or get stuck, there are several 'gadgets' that can help, these however are limited in use.

This is version 1.3

Press Option-R during the game to register...but I can't find a working serial number.

Excellent game that anyone can learn and stretch their mind. It was a big hit at a birthday party a long time ago. Thank you to the original author.

This is one of the most fiendish puzzles on the Mac, and will certainly give your mouse a workout.

Although you will almost certainly make it to the the last world, and maybe even one of the final two levels - you will probably only "finish" the game one in 20 attempts. A great deal of fun.
