An RPG set in a medieval land where all the women have been kidnapped and it is up to you to get them back. What starts as a mission to save the women soon turns into a battle against good and evil to the death.
From Wikipedia:
Silver is a role-playing game. The story focuses around a young warrior called David and his quest to retrieve his wife from the clutches of the villain Silver. On his journey he gains a number of followers and visits many different landscapes.
The game features polygonal 3D characters drawn against a pre-rendered 2D background. The character design is inspired from Manga/Anime culture. The battle system of Silver is notable for being completely real-time opposed to many similar light role-playing games, which usually have turn-based combat. The player may choose any character in his adventuring party to control, and the rest of the characters are handled automatically by AI. The story focuses largely on collecting eight magic orbs representing different elements such as fire, ice and acid. Each orb is located at an area themed around the orb, and the player may use the collected orbs to cast different kind of spells against his enemies.

thx mrdav. This game is one very much worth playing.
Thanks bertyboy. I will make new links for the page as promised.
EDIT: Done
Disc 1 re-uploaded to ..Direct Link Removed..
Disc 2 is uploading now.
These are Mac OS X .cdr CD Master images. Mount and burn them with O X Disk Utility. Toast images caused the game to fail to recognise the munted disc as the game cd - read the chatter above.
Definitely lock the images. Leaving them named with .cdr.
Then mount in Toast - Select the Copy tab in Toast, then select Image File, then drag the locked .cdr into the main Toast window. I use Toast 7, but shouldn't make any difference.
The two images mounted for each cd are the Mac and ISO partitions. That's what it does for me too. Again, I had it working perfectly, but I'm in OSX 10.3.9. Shouldn't make any difference to the images mounting.
Huh? I still can't get it to work. Using Toast 6, tried both with locked and unlocked images (the new ones).
Also, is there supposed to be two cds mounted by each image or is it an error?
Yeah, just tested. Lock the .cdr images and mount them with Toast (doesn't work if you use OSX's DiskImageMounter) and it works perfectly.
don't know if Toast 5 (in OS9) can mount them or not. Fingers crossed.
If I could get the .cdr (uncompressed) images to mount in OS 9 with Disk Copy 6.5b13, I could maybe then use Toast 5.2.3 to make an accurate image.
Disk Copy 6.4 or newer can handle/mount them in Mac OS 9, so creating .cdr, .toast, .nrg images is not a problem when using a real old-MacOS based Mac.
That might be my fault, I've used OSX Disk Utility to create "Master" images - aka .cdr to get it to work before. But I converted them to Toast 5 disk images (without thinking) to upload here for maximum compatibility. Pants.
Any ideas on how to get usable disk images in OS9 ?
Are the .cdr disk images of any use ?
-- Stupid question, I know you have OSX 10.4.11 on a PBG4.
Not looking forward to re-uploading the files again.
Good news is I'm about to try Pod Racer under Tiger. Fingers crossed.
Maybe some invisible stuff on the original CDs, which not has been copied over to the images,
which is the game looking for?
Even if you burn the disk images to CDs, the game knows they're not the original ones.
