Lead the black ants in a war against the red (and torment the human property owner while you're at it). Or, enter Experimental Mode and test a colony's reactions to pheromones and mazes.

A fine example of sound programming principles, and another title which runs fabulously across decades of Macintosh. Interestingly, you can "extract" the quirky music from this application. If you open it with ResEdit, and peek into the "Midi" resource, you can copy and paste a song into a text processor (BBEdit) and save. Then open it in any MIDI player. Instruments don't exactly match, but you can tell it's the SimAnt theme music.
This game is cool! I got this years ago.Best Sim game ever!
=( The mission from Elvis is over. Long live SimAnt!
(Most especially the laser spider! Pew pew pew!)
I rock at this game.
I've added the Sim Ant Cheater which enable some cheats known so far.
BEST. GAME. EVER.
When I was in seventh grade, if we finished our work early, Mrs. Clayton would let us play SimAnt on the classroom Mac. Yay!
