sorry, i keep forgetting to add my changes to the log. I just uploaded a version I had. I haven't tested to see the differences.
I remember the demo of this from some weird demo disk called "Software Dispatch" Anyway, it kept me rapt despite its limited nature, and I'm excited to finally try the full version.
If you put this on several computers, and connect them together using WLAN or an Ethernet hub, you can play multiplayer. Just plug 'n' play, select a host, and you're off!
This game was the only reason my Primary 4 Class had a Mac Performa.
Everyone wanted to be finished their work first so they could play Super Maze Wars.
Came pre-installed on my Performa 5200, good fun, with plenty of game modes to keep it interesting
Had a demo of this with a Mac magazine in about 1994, which despite its limited nature kept the teenage me entertained for countless sessions through being just so damn playable
even managed a quasi 2-player mode by delegating Buttkicker Missile-firing duties to my younger brother...!
