A first-person shooter with role-playing elements. You must stop an artificial intelligence gone mad before she destroys all mayor cities of Earth and turn the population into mutants.
The manual includes a ten-minute tutorial to ease you into the controls. Better read it.
At the behest of Electronic Arts, the links to this game have been removed. Forum Post regarding EA

For anyone able to find this absolute pearl in the deeps of the NET (IT is there, only a little disguised...) I suggest some installation procedures (I run it perfectly on a G3 800mhz, os 9.2):
Be sure to have quicktime v.3 (found on this fantastic site... thanks for all MacGarden..!). Previous version misses the "technology" I think, later version has problems with "Sound Manager" (a quicktime plugin), so you'll not be able to listen to the (COOL) musics. If you have a later version of QT installed (in 9.2 standard is QT 5), download the QT 5.5 appropriate language package, run the installer -> select custom install -> remove. If "sound manager" extension is still present in the Extensions folder, delete it. Then install QT 3.0, and let SHODAN shocks your system!
Not possible.
Like HOTU did in the past, adding something like "Ask the publisher to sell it to you" to the description, is the best option.
does anyone know of a place that you can download ss1 on the mac or could someone just post it on mac garden again and try to dodge EA if they bitch again any help would be much obliged.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
i read
it want to play get me some pop corn and its for a power pc ugh but great job
That means it hasn't uploaded to S3 yet. If it doesn't finish within 12 hours, I'll fix it manually.
me too
The download link takes me to the "Games" page.
This file has the same stuff as the 200 MB file (330 MB when expanded) available over Le Grenier du Mac. The difference lies in the simple fact that the Grenier du Mac file is a CD image with with hundreds of unused megabytes. Mine's a Disk Copy image with only 1.7 MB of unused space and it's two-thirds smaller.
Here's the walkthrough for this amazing game:
