TAIHEIYOU SENSHI

Taiheiyou Senshi -- Aoki Solomon no Bohyou (Japanese: 大平洋戦史　蒼きソロモンの墓標, translation: "Pacific War History -- Gravestone of the Blue Solomons") is a multi-media educational historical presentation on the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal in the Pacific Theatre of World War II (in Japanese the battle is called 第三次ソロモン海戦, "Third Battle of the Solomon Sea").

The presentation has two components.

1. Digital Cinema, an animated dramatization of the battle. The animation is mainly hand-drawn with some use of computer graphics.
2. World War II Dictionary, a collection of articles on people, weaponry, strategies, etc. connected with the battle.

The game was published in Japanese language only.

Requires QuickTime 1.6 or higher. 2.0 or higher is recommended.
