Now I've got it running in SheepShaver with the same iMac /c ROM and 8.6 installation, though now it's 64-bit SheepShaver 2.4 compiled in X11 with SDL 1.2.5 (previously I was running the 32-bit SheepShaver 2.3 Universal Binary). As likely to make a difference are the extensions: QuickDraw 1.5.4, QuickTime 5.0.5, GameSprockets 1.7.5, Open Transport, no ATI drivers, and no Microsoft libraries except the PPC embedded font library. Works in 256, thousands, and millions of colors. Gobs of RAM assigned to Trinity, of course -- 22MB -- but I would have done that before. It just works now and I dunno why. Engrossing game.
I got a cool, spinning beach ball in SheepShaver (8.6, iMac /c ROM).
I didn't get it to run in SheepShaver, but your mileage my vary.
Please report back.
