Guides on emulating older games

Before your fall, you led a crusade against evil. Now you've become one of the undead creatures you once battled—a Vampire. Inhabiting the World of Darkness, you must face a series of brutal confrontations with your nemesis, a powerful vampire lord.

Your unholy showdown begins in medieval Europe and rages on into the modern day, as you track a soulless enemy in an eternal struggle to destroy him. This is the only hope of vengeance for your tortured immortality. (official description)

same problem as tanner; any ideas?

Probably the same problem as exists in Settlers 2 or other CD-ROM based games.
In Classic Mode, the CD-ROM will not be recognized by its game, even if inserted.

Anyone had any issues getting this to run? It keeps crashing when I attempt to start a new game... I have tried all three install options; troubleshooting extensions; tweaking graphics settings down; disabling movies/inputsprocket etc. I even burned 2 cds as I thought maybe that would work rather than image mounting. It seems no matter what I try I get error 1, 2 or 3 upon starting a new game. This is in Mac OS 9.2.2 on a PowerMac G4.
