(Thankfully, it's fully compatible with vanilla Mini vMac when booted from this disk image.) At fault is its use of the alternate screen buffer, a feature discontinued on subsequent models, to achieve extremely fast graphics — an eminently forgivable choice, since furious split-second action is a huge part of the game's appeal.
