The player begins the game with a witchcraft learner's permit and must successfully complete 7 spells in order to graduate to the next level. In the opening adventure, Sabrina's black cat Salem tricks Sabrina into turning herself into a pumpkin. It is up to the player to scavenge the ingredients necessary to reverse the spell gone awry.
