Mortimer&#039;s curiosity gets the better of him and he steps right into the trap. It will propel him into the Jurassic period, the Middle Ages and the 51st century. Eldgrim tells Hjalmar that his father&#039;s estate Dynhólmar in Iceland has been destroyed and his father killed. Hjalmar travels to Iceland to verify the claim and recover the family&#039;s heirloom axe Hildirid. Following the trail of the axe, Hjalmar will travel to Greenland and finally to Vinland (now called North America).&lt;/p&gt;
