Loosely based on the movie of the same name, Blown Away is a puzzle-solving adventure game similar to The 7th Guest. You play a bomb-squad cop in pursuit of crazed bomber Jimmy Scaggs, you follow the storyline through videos and then get to navigate through virtual rooms filled with hot spots. Clicking on them then leads you to logic-puzzle sequences where your objective is to disarm bombs through said puzzles, usually against a timer. You get logic, number, word and maze puzzles (MobyGames).

AMBER is like the illegitimate lovechild of Myst and H.P. Lovecraft—the graphics and gameplay style are similar to Myst, but instead of finding yourself trapped on the island of Myst, you're trapped in a place more akin to Arkham or Innsmouth.

What's to figure out? Stuff comes down and you shoot it, try not to get hit or run in to something. the hardest part is to maintain control because your shooter tends to drift when you let go of the controls, so you are constantly correcting. Good graphics and sound. This piece of software is a quality arcade game.
