One of the first Mac antivirus programs, written by Robert Woodhead of Wizardry fame. He later took his work commercial as Virex.

Interferon is only aware of the Scores and nVIR viruses. It will guess at files that may have been otherwise infected, but this feature has been known to produce false positives, notably version 2.1 of the TOPS networking software.

Thanks to our uploaders, this download now contains these patches: Runs in Classic (& vMac). Minor fix to fonts. Item lists in player windows & store now show symbols for rings, potions, scrolls, etc. Never asks for magic word. If appears, can ignore -35 error message about sound driver, click continue. If used with OS 8.6, recommend installing FontFixer extension.

The legend that started it all! Track down the evil wizard Werdna in his fortress labyrinth to retrieve a fabled amulet. Go where even the Mad Overlord fears to tread. The Game is Wonderful ==__^__^__== The Macintosh have some add-on : An incredible new driven-interface with icons and windows. Just point and click on the coresponding icons and you can create a new team (Training icon) or click on the Maze icon and will venture enter into the World of Wizardry to track the evil Wizard.
