Feature Request:
A few more info fields for titles, although it does get away from the site ideal of just preserving softwate:
Also, the Mac OS systems that the software works in is not shown unless there is an actual download. So if the software comes as a Rapidshare link, or similar, there's no way to determine the OS suitabllity.
I've noticed on more than one occasion after logging in, if I visit several pages I can lose my logged-in status, but if I go to a page that shows my avitar, it still shows me as being logged in (green orb) even though I would need to re-log-in to be able to edit a page etc.
Just like now, before making this reply post
@Vitoarc:
Yes, though there are a few layout glitches that are yet to be fixed.
I see that uploading screens and manuals using Safari is now fixed.
Yeah. Likely its my (slightly) incompatible browser (SeaMonkey). It seems to be less clicks to login if I use Firefox
Another feature request: An ability to turn off forum topics you aren't interested in - wishfully thinking
how 'bout something that records how many posts you make, please?
That's a cool idea, though it would help if the rating system were expanded from "out of 5" to "out of 10."
Another feature request,
looks like the site records how I rate games,
can that be added to a user profile page, say their 10 highest rated and 5 lowest rated games ?
Just an idea.
Ah, a short but sweet one: when in the forum threads which runs in the new design, the authors join date is much more apparent than the comments publish date.
I love you all here, some spammers a little less perhaps, some troll even lesser, but the main focus here is to get the latest comment in a thread IMHO.
All that clicking must be *exhausting*
ROFL You probably didn't even spring a "CaPtChA" with that. Maybe I'm not the only one that can do such excellent typo's
For the To Do topic; It now takes me (on average) four clicks to log in.
1). If I'm only browsing (and not logged in) then read something interesting so decide to log in to comment, I click the "login" link in page. OK so far...
2). I get taken to my user login page, I need to click the "Log in" button on my user login page.
3). Page refreshes, I notice the "login" link at top of page (still) AND "Log in" button below, so I'm not logged in yet and I'm still on my user login page.
4). Click "Log in" button yet again. Now get logged in (but doesn't take me back to point of where I wanted to log in).
Then (finally) manually I need to navigate back to where I wanted to be logged in, in the 1st place.
It would be great if we could click a "log in" link and just be "logged in" at that point.

Boy, no wonder! I was typing "a href" wrong!
I typed "a herf".
Thanks for setting me straight.
Ever tried Looking - at the RAW code or underlying HTML to any of these posts?
Especially if someone appears to be doing something with any of the visible text in the Wiki pages that causes you to ask yourself; "How was that done?" Hmmm...?
As for that "what's the tag?"... Perhaps at its most basic and after that perhaps some that are a little more complex?
oh . . Thanks for setting me straight
. I know a little bit of html and didn't remember the letter for bold
.
I'll try < h2 >
EDIT: what's the tag for links(like to another website)?
Thanks
ToDo:
Game/App pages only show first "Manual" ilink.
LOL
How do i write in normal bold?
Thanks for setting me straight on block quotes
.
Oh, now I see it!
Two little quote thingies at the beginning. I've missed seeing it since the contrast is very low. Personally I prefer a highlighted box which surrounds the entire quoted text. But that's just me.
And you can quote me on that!
try
that's < blockquote >
i think you can do that, try
A small, text only "About Me" on the home profile would be nice. Not urgent. Members can list what type of hardware they have etc. etc. etc.
Also, it would be nice to add HTML in comments, to quote. Example:
This site is looking good.
"All browsers" might be a tall order... but yes, compatibility with some of the more common browsers on different platforms would be great.
I'll even volunteer to test anything in that direction if possible. I'd like to see SeaMonkey fully supported.
Please make uploading from all browers on the market possible - old and new.
