Hi My name's Lewis. I am a blind IT engineer and full time mac user. I am the founder of a small UK based organisation called Free Macs For The Blind. I recycle unwanted old macs (G3 and above) from companies and individuals who have upgraded or cross graded, I then service and upgrade where possible and then install adaptive software, etc to support blind and visually impaired users needs who cannot afford new technology. Through the kindness of companies, businesses, manufacturers, etc I am sponsored by quite a few people who have helped tool up with specialist equipment. This website is a life saver for certain software which is in most cases impossible to obtain. If anyone here wants to contribute to the project with donations of hardware, software CD's etc or old systems and is either in the UK or (software related) willing to post cd's throughout the world, I'd really appreciate the help.
