Virtual PC is PC emulation software that provides users with the ability to run various Windows operating systems and software at reduced speed, right on their Macintosh, including DOS, Windows 3.1, 95, ME, and 2000.
Slower PowerPC systems will want to stick with DOS or Windows 3.1. Faster PowerPC systems will perform acceptably with Windows 95 and 98. G3 and G4 upgraded systems will perform acceptably with Windows ME and 2000.
OK, here is the next version of Virtual PC uploaded. And here it is, the version 4.0 of Virtual PC. It's updates the components to use of Virtual PC 4.0, added support of Windows ME and partial XP compatibility, some nasty bugs fixed, faster, run up to 12 virtual machines in one application, dynamically expanding hard drives, and lost of 3D graphics that came from version 2.0 and 3.0 to play 3D games.
The first download link above (16.11 MB) is an ".iso" image of Virtual PC 4.0 Upgrade. It doesn't include any hard disk files, you need a valid copy of Virtual PC 3.0 to install. You can make the hard disk image and install or upgrade to Windows 95/98/NT/2000/ME if you want and for full functionality, install the additions. You can also install the OS/2 Warp, Red Hat Linux, Windows 3.1, and more operating systems without additions.
The second download link above (21.36 MB) is a ".toast" image of Virtual PC 4.0 with PC-DOS 2000 hard disk files, compressed with zip.
The third download link above (771.56 MB) is the Virtual PC 4.0 with Windows 2000 Professional CD-ROMs, compressed with zip and imaged as ".toast". The first disc contains the VPC 4.0 installer with Windows 2000 hard disk files. The second disc contains the Windows 2000 Professional extra system files (you can't install Windows 2000 from there through) and Virtual PC additions, which only readable on the PC. Also included several artwork as a bonus (serials included)

The fourth download link above (623.09 KB) is a compressed StuffIt archive containing the Virtual PC 4.0.2 Update.
MD5 Checksum: 47BC8B51B465F6419724BA778BD62D36
The fifth download link above is the Virtual PC 4.0 for Windows x86 CD-ROM with PC-DOS 2000 hard disk file, compressed with zip and imaged as ".iso". Differences from the Mac version is it virtualizes PC hardware to run virtual machines on the host computer. Use this if you want to try installing Rhapsody on Virtual PC 4.0 as the current Virtual PC doesn't run Rhapsody.
Note: This version lacks the 3D support, that means you are unable to play 3D games with this, this becomes limited functionality.
The serial number can be used after installation:

Boot Floppy Images
Installing and configuring Windows is usually a tedious and frustrating process. I've tried to make it easy by including various Windows boot floppy images in Macintosh DiskCopy format. You can simply drag these onto the Virtual PC "eject floppy" button, and Virtual PC will use (and boot from) them.
Sys. 7 Today/Windows 95 Boot Floppy Image.
Sys. 7 Today/Windows 98 SE Boot Floppy Image.
Sys. 7 Today/Windows ME Boot Floppy Image.
Other Virtual PC versions: 1.0b6 and 1.0fc2, 2.0 and 2.1.3, 3.0 upgrade & 3.0.3, 5.0 and 5.0.4, 6.0 and 7.0.
CompatibilityIncompatible with SheepShaver because it lacks MMU (it shows an error message and broken graphics).

Good job, Fortuna Wave !
You don't have the Windows and OS/2 versions of Virtual PC 5 by any chance, too ?
I have added the Connectix Virtual PC 4.0 for Windows PC as the additional bonus.
