1.44mb HFS floppy image.

The first upload is a zipped dmg file, which is not compatible with older systems.

The second upload is a Disk Copy 4.2-compatible img file, compressed with Stuffit 4

Nope, not the same files. I don't know where the two come from but they are quite different items. Some interesting bits in each.

Looks like same thing as QuickBASIC Examples: http://macgui.com/downloads/?file_id=17344

So yes, it was part of QuickBASIC.
