Myst Hints 1.0 is a HyperCard stack that provides successive hints and clues without spoilers in order to aid one in solving the complex puzzles and riddles within Myst.

Though this software was released as freeware, it is not in the public domain. See the accompanying ReadMe file ("About Myst Hints 1.0") for more information.

Compatibility

This stack requires HyperCard 2.1/HyperCard Player 2.1 or later.

Myst Hints 1.0 creates a preferences file called "Myst Hints Preferences" inside the System Folder's Preferences folder. This file is used to keep track of which hints you have already viewed.

I seemed to recall that someone had at some point requested this... It's much better than the majority of Universal Hint System files I've seen; they should take note.

Yes, the "NoSuchKey" error can be sailed around by editing the page. It's a temporary error which should hide in time...
