This is UnderWare 1.0.1.
Ostensibly a screensaver, but its main selling point is an animated desktop that interacts with your icons and windows. The 26 supplied desktop animation modules are very well done. The ability to have AD modules running instead of a still desktop pattern is still unique, and makes this package stand out.
You can have a different module as a screensaver, and the supplied animations can do different things when screensaving. A desktop pattern utility and patterns, on a par with Desktop Textures is also included. UW can also give you a full-screen backdrop, a la Decor and other utilities.
(Archive consists of two Disk Copy floppy images in a folder, stuffed using DropStuff 4)
See page on UnderWare 2.0 for updated modules. Also see "Kids World", an UnderWare compatible Screen Saver construction set by Bit Jugglers.
CompatibilityUnderWare requires the following Macintosh configuration:
Mac OS 7.0 or higher
68020 Mac or above (this includes Classic II, SE/30, LC, Mac II or above)
4 MB of RAM

Please checkout Under Ware 2.0 as well!
@Galane: FWIW, UnderWare works fine with After Dark 2.0 modules... but only as AD modules are intended to be used... as screen savers.
When I used this, I couldn't find any After Dark modules that would work with it. Probably only supports AD 1.0 modules.
You're all welcome.
Here's an alternative link for those who has problems with the download:

Unfortunately my set is also version 1.0.1.
Thanks so much for sharing this! I think several of us here have been looking for UnderWare for a very, very long time.
Great Upload. Although version 2.0 with the 2.0.1 update is the last version (I think). And unless the full version 2.0 gets uploaded, you can install 1.0.1 then install the demo of version 2.0 + the update and still use all of the included modules from version 1.0.1 (thats what I've just done). The demo is fully functional it just lacks all of the modules (includes only 2). Its worth installing the demo just for the module "Robber 95", which is not included in version 1.0.1 - Links to demo and updater on this page.
The included SN, appears to be superfluous.
