.3gp player?

Not finding anything so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows of a player for OS9 that can handle .3gp files.

Thanks!

Did you try Quicktime 6 or Quicktime 6 Pro?

Got 6 installed, never had a working serial for pro. I was wondering if there were any codec packs anywhere.

Have you tried to rename it? I mean, remplacing ¨.3gp¨ with ¨.mov¨?
Quicktime 6 has mp4 codecs included. Renaming do the trick in my imac g3 with panther.

Good thought. (tries it) Nope. Comes up with a doen't recognize this type of file error. Bummer.

There was something, I have mp3trimmer in my head, but it may have been something else. I'm sure that .3gp was the format used on my old Motorola phones and I had something that could read them as well as create them.

The mp4 codecs of Quicktime 6 might only be in the Pro version. Try this:

3ivx should be able to handle it - http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/3ivx-macos-9

They list 3GP on their site, but that could be maybe just the newer version.

Alas, nope to both ideas. It's not that big a deal for me (a 200 mhz 603e is not exactly video heaven anyway) just more of a curiosity.
