Seriously, is this spam?

There is no user-accessible sound card in the G3 clamshell iBook. You have analogue 3.5mm stereo jack, and that is it. If you had the 366MHz Firewire model, then there are possibly some digital connection options open to you. As it stands, you are a prisoner of analogue sound.

PS. You need the audio/video port, front of left side, looks a bit like this ((O))

You may be interested in the manual for your iBook model. You can download a PDF version of it from Apple:

Hello

I have the US-Mac-9.2.2 OS

I have try the M-Audio Transit usb sound card, I used the M-Audio mac driver but my iBook G3 did freeze.

I want to use my iBook G3 as a music server with an external DA converter, because that laptop do not heat and seem to last forever.

Btw, how much years a iBook G3 can last ?

Thank
