What is the most modern version of AOL for Mac OS? Did it exist a 6.0 version?

I did a little searching - it looks like AOL 5.0 was the last version of the AOL desktop software released for OS 9.
Are you looking for OS X or OS 9 and prior?

In that case, I believe 5.0 is the last version available.
