Basilisk II Networking

So I'm running Mac OS 7.5.5 very stable with Basilisk II so that I can play one of my favorite old games, A-10 Attack. It's a really fun game and I wanna get my friends in on it, but not only am I unsure about whether A-10 Attack can go online or not, but I don't even know if you can play network/LAN games using an emulator, much less through Hamachi. (I'm running Windows 7.) Even if A-10 Attack can't go online, A-10 Cuba can, so I do have a few questions to ask.

1. If it's possible to play LAN games with Basilisk II, is it possible to use my Hamachi IP so that we can essentially play via LAN across the city from each other?

2. How could I set A-10 Cuba up to accomplish this?

3. Does A-10 Attack have network capabilities, and if so, does it mean we can play the same mission and work together to push back the Resistance?

4. If A-10 Attack doesn't have network capabilities out of the box, has anyone developed a VBE module to accomplish such a thing? I know VBE modules work, because A-10 Cuba IS a module in my game of A-10 Attack.

5. If nobody has developed it, how could I start learning how to make a VBE module myself?

Thanks in advance, any A-10 Attack vets will know why I'm so dedicated to this.

I'm thinking that networking with JIT builds of Basilisk II & SheepShaver is flaky and unreliable. I can't imagine that you will have a good experience with networked game play (There's only one way to find out tho').

On Windows, the older Build 142 version of Basilisk does have good networking support with a mostly stable AppleTalk over TCP/IP routing (minimum network hangs & system crashes), but only on 32 bit systems. The old Basilisk II Windows ethernet driver is incompatible with 64 bit Windows systems.

If you can, consider buying an older Mac instead for networking old games. You can't beat the real thing and old G3 & G4's are still in fairly common supply and inexpensive 2nd hand.

I could never get SheepShaver working. That's why I'm running Basilisk II.

I fully agree with the fact that the real thing is a lot better than emulation. Unfortunately, I don't have any money, not even enough for older Macs, otherwise I'd rather do that anyway.

The networking guide is the same for SS an BII as the emulators share some code.
For a quick start on SS some people googled for RedundantRobot Sheepshaver Tutorial and found it was not that hard to get things rolling.
Setting up AppleTalk will be tricky and the results may not be too reliable.
If you can spend some time on the issue, maybe worth a shot still.

I don't have $5 nor a place to put it. Considering I'm running Windows 7 64 bit, I'll just have to mow someone's lawn or something.
