Is there a best rated games list? I'd really like to explore the games but am looking for the most fun, the ones that everyone loved and remembers. Is there some sort of list by rating that could be done? I'm not looking for a specific title; rather to explore titles I may have missed playing originally.
Also it's be cool to be able to choose best rated by genre/category ex: best rated adventure games, etc...

I think it's broken, though. Look at the ratings, they're all over the place.

I'm new here and I think this site is the best, epic in fact, but one of the things I find odd are the low number of ratings on the games. 8 votes for Myst? Really?
Do people just download and don't bother rating/commenting or what? I think a rating system is extremely valuable, especially for folks like me who don't have many games myself and would really appreciate others opinions. I downloaded Myth The Fallen Lords for no other reason than a stellar review.
So I encourage everyone to rate and comment. 
Most of the core users here just buy old games, document and upload. I've rated all those I've played (about 10).
I think I've rated all of about two games. Everyone's taste is different so it seems an exercise in futility anyway.
