Broken Links (BBEdit)

The Links for both versions of BBEdit Lite are broken. It downloads, but Stuffit Expander won't extract it on either my iMac with 10.5, or my PowerBook with 9.2.2. I have a working copy of those archives from an old backup disk. Should I upload them as new programs? Or is the old one fixable?

If it downloads then the link isn't broken.

It seems both files are corrupted, but how can it be? They're in BinHex (HQX) format which is plain text. How can a plain-text file be corrupted?
