A friend of mine gave me a Powerbook 540c. I put a disk in the floppy drive but it doesn't show something on the desktop and now i cannot eject the disk because the drive hasn't eject button. What can i do?

Is there a hole near the drive, where you can put in a paper clip (Büroklammer) ?
I'm not sure about the Powerbooks, but you can eject a floppy/CD by holding down the mouse button during boot.
Every Mac user had some straightned paper clips nearby back then.
Apple made many hardware switches that way, e.g. reset and CD eject.
Recent USB DVD drives have the eject hole as well.
Not sure about PBs, as I dont have one.
Perhaps this; http://macintoshgarden.org/games/eject
might be of interest?
Well there is a hole above the floppy drive and the paper clip did the job. Thank you
When it first comes to slot-in CD drives, I was disappointed, because the Mac no longer ejected CD drives automatically at shutdown anymore (like done with CD tray and floppy drives before).
