CodeWarrior 8.0

I'm interested in this version of code warrior CDs it comes with mac and windows versions heres the description from an old website:

Note that it cannot be uploaded to any file-sharing site, and that includes the Garden. You've been warned, so don't screw it up for everyone else.

Do you have the name of the service rep who can assist with this? I've been back and forth with someone named "Jennie" who is oblivious to this. This is what she said when I mentioned that I was informed that the product was available as a download:

Anyway if this people is from Freescale, you could let me know his full name or email, I can contact him for you.

If he is not from Freescale. I suggest you have to contact him directly. I appreciate your understanding.

You should refer "Jennie" to SR# 1-886946434 about getting CodeWarrior 8.0 for Mac.

Well, I got a reply back and it's not good. They've stopped giving CodeWarrior 8 away. Here is the quote from the service rep:

"we should not make this available any more. It has been EOL for years, and Apple has a free tools offering for our legacy customers to use."

I'm not sure what the harm in making something available is. Especially when the user has no expectations of warranty or customer service support. I probably spent more of their customer service resources going back and forth with them on this than if they would've just provided a link to the download on their website. lol.

for those who are downloading from the link above.. i had to use stuffit 7 expander to be able to reconstitute the .IMG file - which ended up being a OSX mountable/burnable image IMG file...
if u dont have an osx machine handy u might have a rough time with it.. might be worthwhile for someone to respost this as a SIT dropsegment
