How are y'all doing? I am currently setting up my vintage Power Mac for some music recording....and I can't find the Pro Tools 5.0 image I had stored somewhere.
Could someone please share this with me??

the free versions only work with the built in mac ports on the g3/g4 series macs
Thanks for the quick reply!! Actually I am looking for the full installer of Pro Tools 5....
Unfortunately the free version does not allow me to modify the DAE and DSI to work with my NuBus system (version 5.0 was the last that could be modifed this way...). Anyone? 
I have 4.2 (.3?) if that helps...

Actually PT 4.2 is the *most* stable version I have worked with....It was rewritten for PPC code and it really is blazing fast on any compatible PowerPC processor (reaaally nice with a G3 upgrade) -also, it works rock solid from Mac OS 7 to 9.
About PT 5.0....never mind. I have to stick to Pro Tools 2.03 OR 3.2. The only problem is my 3.1 Install floppy (that served as key, given there are no authorizations left) is dead and won't work anymore. So either I track down some 3.1/3.2 floppies......or I stick to 2.03. What do you guys think?

ok i know its a bit late but i have found this image.. I dont know where or who to upload it im stuffin it now into a .sit it was 640mb toast image created with toast 5 from original cd
If it is too large, can you use DropSegment (part of Stuffit) as well?
i can upload the 5.0.1 install toast image if someone else can upload the 5.1 update (i need this very badly to be able to launch pt 5 LE.. my serial is apparently a 5.1 serial and it wont work untill i update 5.0.1 to 5.1+)
5.1 is a whole " new product" apparently.. but it does exist..
obviously as i have the 5.2 update;D lol but i cant get to 5.1 as im running LE 5.0.1 its all very confusing they realy werent good with their versioning schemes:D

Pro Tools LE 5.0.1
Pro Tools LE 5.1
even tho they all look like the same thing..
anyway i found my code for 5.0.1 and i have it working;) so im happy for the moment:) but would like to be able to get my hands on 5.1 so i can update to 5.2
the dropstuff on my machine doesnt seem to have this segment option.. do u know of anyway that i could get a version that does have it so i can put this file into volumes?

I've checked again, but DropSegment is only installed on my PowerBook Pismo,
but not part of the version 14 (for which I've also paid for)
I'm using on my current Intel based Mac box.
DropSegment is part of Stuffit Deluxe, not to be confused with DropStuff. Deluxe edition is available here at the garden.
I have it all packaged + ready to upload.. split into 3 different files of around 150-200mb each but the website didnt let me upload it.. because the filename was .sea (Self extracting archive) so im wondering how to do this because as it is... its a toast image.. stuffed first into a .sit then dropsegmented which has to number the files .1 .2 .3 for it to extract properly as far as i can tell.. its kind of messy for me to rename the files to .sit just so i can upload aand then have to leave instructions to rename the files back? how do i go about doing this.. help!!
Encode as macbinary. They will almost preserve the size, and all files will end with .bin, but when decoded they will restore their original names. Just an idea.
If macbinary doesn't work, we add another .sit to the .1, .2 file extensions before uploading.
so u mean stuff the individual numbered files yet again? ok;) i can do that! thats awhoel lot of unstuffing to do tho but itll be worth it to any digi 001 owners stuck without the install cd:)

Not that, but just editing the file name in the Finder.
But I've detected recently, when I do that in Mac OS 9,
the System tries to stuff again,
which was not the task I wanted to do.
does anyone have the refuse software solution for pro tools LE 5.01 rewire with reason/live?
I had the same problem when I re-upped a game here recently. I just renamed the parts to file.1.sit and uploaded them. Then added the correct filenames (file.sit.1) to the post.
yes thast exactly what happened to me earlier and i didnt understand what the hell happened so i just deleted the stuffit files altogther, unsure of whether they were screwed up somehow;)
this file has been uploaded to max1zzz if anyone can package it + post it somehow that would be awesome
