I know it's a lot of data to download everything - but it would be pretty cool to have a complete archive that could be downloaded by bittorrent or something. What do you think?

The entire archive as a single torrent ?
The archive changes every few minutes. Any downloaded archive would be out-of-date minutes after you STARTED to download it.
Then we'd get requests ffrom those wanted to download anything short of the full archive and who refused to use a decent torrent client that can download individual files.
And ho pays for the bandwidth ?
And the torrent would end up on piratebay and more and we'd get hundreds downloading everything and contributing nothing.
Torrents for individual files ?
The torrent chatter amounts to nearly 1KB/s per torrent, you can use all your bandwidth without actually sharing anything.
The current setup seems to work well, the smaller files hosted by the site and the larger titles put up on mirror sites by the members. There are very few titles that are completely unavailable.
Do you have any other options ?
