epicMac's Upload Collection

Just a place to let people know what kind of stuff I'll be adding to Macintosh Garden; as well as a place to obtain permission to add some of these items...

Currently I'm working on adding Amazon Trail: 3rd Edition to the site. Quick question though; since the game officially doesn't include 'the' in the title, which naming convention should I use? Should I add 'the' to the title so it can be alphabetized along side the other games in the series? Or be accurate to the official name?

I would recommend staying true to the title. Although it would be nice to have some way of easily finding titles of the like series, I think dropping the 'the' would be appropriate for the Garden's mission of preservation.

And, welcome to Macintosh Garden:)

Alright, I think that's what I'll do then. Now I just have to get both parts to Amazon Trail 3rd Edition uploaded to my MediaFire account, as well as scan the CD cover.

Also, if preservation is the goal of Macintosh Garden, you guys might be interested in something I've been gearing up for; though I'd prefer to wait until after I'm done this course I'm on. Smile

Thanks for the welcome, but I've been here for a while now, heh.

Amazon Trail: 3rd Edition has now been added to the 'Garden.

You know, I just checked and Amazon Trail II doesn't have "the" in the title either. So which game should have "the" removed or added? II or 3rd Edition?

If anybody wants, I have some more educational titles I could certainly add to the 'Garden. Here's a list:

Star Wars Math
Star Wars: Pitdroids
Star Wars: Droidworks
Nikolai's Trains
Nikolai's Toys
NN'nN Toy Makers (variant of the above title)
Nikolai's Pirates
Nikolai's Knights (trying to get a good clean disc image)
Nikolai's Mysteries
Nikolai's Treats

I have one other Nikolai game (Nikolai in Outer Space), but it's only for Windows 95. I trust this wouldn't be acceptable?

Added Nikolai's Trains to the site:

Will add more as I collect screenshots and information. Scans of original documentation/discs get added whenever they are ready.

No kidding. I should probably make a request thread of this, but one game I've been searching for YEARS, is Nikolai's Pharaohs. That game is 99% impossible to find. Now if somebody could upload THAT to Macintosh Garden... I don't know what I'd do. I might explode from sheer happiness. It's the ONLY Nikolai game I'm missing from my collection. If I had that, all I'd need to do after that is secure all the variants, then I'd have a 100% complete Nikolai set. Laughing out loud

Concerning other games I could upload, most of what I have available is educational stuff. Not that there's anything wrong with that though, I'm just not sure if you guys would be interested.

I should probably upload Pinball Science though. That game RULED back in the day.

I feel as if I have awoken from a cryogenic sleep. Sorry for my absence in the garden for what was it, two years? *sigh*, other projects drew me away from my beloved Macintosh.

I will make a point of uploading more educational software, anything that Macintosh Garden doesn't have on file already. If these are not up yet, I will add the following:

Star Wars Math
Star Wars: Pitdroids
Star Wars: Droidworks
Pinball Science
Schoolhouse Rock

And any others I have that aren't uploaded yet.
