F/a-18 Hornet 3.0
does anyone have a torrent of this game?
i have the real version of hornet 2.0 (the actual disk)
and played the demo of hornet 3.0...
it seems really good on my macintosh power pc mac OS 8.6
and i searched all over the web and found nothing...
so anyone got a torrent of it? since it is restricted download here due to bandwidth...

though i have a question... does that run on a power pc???
cause its the Korea version...
and plus its a dmg...
btw... for 2.0... some missions are sooo hard... i can't figure it out lol
please tell me your strategies! 
.dmg files can't be opened with classic Mac OS versions.
(probably use Disk Copy version 6.5 to open it with them, but because Disk Copy 6.5 wasn't an official version, it's not recommended to upload classic Mac games enveloped in .dmg files)

My strategy - always fly under 100ft (to stay off enemy radar). Carry AGM-88s on any mission where there's a SAM base around. You will have to go above 100ft to find/target those guys. (Using the A-RAD mode on the radar). You can also target AAA positions using that.
That's pretty much all I ever have to do ... save frequently.

i have a question... on google... the f/a-18 korea graphics looks like this: http://www.flightsim.com/review/f18k9.jpg
but after i installed it and ran the game, it looks exactly like hornet 3.0... and nothing like the screenshots
help plz!!! do i need to change something? i looked in to the preferences and graphics settings... there is nothing there to change to make the graphics better.. 
I got a hold of it from eBay and will be uploading it after it arrives (in about a week).
Another one who trawls eBay for rare old Mac titles, gets big respect ...
FYI for anyone reading this thread: The link given in post #2 is the same download as here: http://www.macintoshgarden.org/games/fa-18-hornet-31 except that it's saved as a .dmg.
Therefore, this is not "F/A-18 3.0" nor "Korea" but "F/A-18 3.1" and "Korea 1.1" which means that the .dmg is an update and will not play as a standalone game, although I think it will work in multiplayer mode.
bertyboy, yes I'm on the lookout but I'm only going to order stuff that I enjoy as well, of course.
I've been going around and around with trying to locate Hornet 3.0 and grew tired of only seeing the update available everywhere. The same goes for Korea [1.0]. I could only locate the update to Korea, so I've ordered the original as well.
