Getting downloaded .sit files onto vintage TAM (20th Anniv. Mac)

Hello:

Is there somewhere I can find step by step instructions on getting the downloads from this site (usually in .sit format) onto my TAM? I am downloading them onto my Mac Mini with OS X 10.6.4, but that is where I am lost. I have a 1.44 USB drive hooked up to my Mini so I would like to get some of the smaller games into disk image formats on a floppy that I can then open on my TAM. Any suggestions or links to this process?

Thanks,
Vapor

USB Zip Drive, which has a bit more capacity.
Also another Zip Drive (with SCSI connector) plus Stuffit Expander on the TAM.

Burn cd's - the backups of your downloads would suffice.

If you´re going to use floppies format them on the TAM as OSX has problems formatting floppies. Else as bertyboy writes; CDs – preferably CD-RW as a transport. The backups should be on CD-R. Wink

CDs are another common way, yes.

There was a number of Ethernet cards suitable for the TAM, I've bid on (and didn't win) a TAM with 2 Ethernet ports installed.

Quick check, takes a 7" PCI card. If it's not already filled, you may find a suitable Ethernet PCI card for between $2 and as high as $6.
