I've downloaded HyperCard from http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/hypercard-241 and tried to extract it on Windows and on my Mac 7.5.5 68k, but every image that I double click I got this error:

You know, after I expanded that in Windows it wouldn't mount. And when I tried to expand it in my emulated machine I got an error.
Maybe the file is not so great?
Mounts just fine in OS X.

Then if it have mounted nice on OS X, could you please get all the image files(that are inside the image) and compress they in a Stuffit archive(*.sit)?

I re-imaged and re-stuffed the disk. Try it, and let me know if it works. If it does, I'll replace the download with it. If not, I'll stuff the loose files instead.

Hm, did you added it to the emulator's drives list like the emulated hard disk where you've installed Mac OS 7.5.5?
Then it should work...
It must be HFS+ on the disk image.
I remember it existed a HFS to HFS+ 3rd party converter application, but I remember not its name.
No loose files, please. If it does not work for him, create .cdr if possible
OSX2000, I'm sure Nathan will thank you for all the effort you've put in, but the site is about the preservation of original Macintosh software, preferably the original install media. Please don't replace the original download with a re-jigged set of files just for a Windows user.
The issue is of course, that the .img.sit.bin must be moved to a Mac OS before any processing is performed (the original post and first reply mention expanding in Windows - this will hose the resource forks of the .img file). I know that you're only trying to be helpful.
I mounted it just fine on an OS 9 computer. It looks like you're trying to unmount it onto a System 6 emulator. I wouldn't suggest that.
Bertyboy, I'm not about to do anything counterproductive to preserving the software. There are no .bins in play here, just .img.sit. Since this is a 1998 piece of software designed for Systems 6-8, I guarantee the original media was not HFS+, therefore I will fix it. There's no reason not to make the disc more compatible with as many systems as possible. Try this link now; it's an HFS image.

HFS+ appeared in 1998, with the original iMac and OS8.1 (that came with it). Even today, it's only usually used on media > 4GB - so Mac CD-ROMs today are still usually HFS.
Since the new HFS image seems to work for everyone, I've replaced the download on the HyperCard page with it. Happy Carding!
