I have set up Basilisk II and want to use Hypercard and some other programs on it...but when I copy these to the virtual hard drive of Basilisk, I cannot seem to change/recover the files from being images to programs. I have read i need to mount the images but the program doesnt seem to recognise the files. Can anyone give me some help??

What kind of images are you trying to use?
Best move all images as .sit or .zip to the emulators "harddisk" - not to the desktop - and inflate them there with the suitable app. If you are on a OSX host, this precaution is not needed.

Thanks a million that was a real help...I have managed to get it working.....I was unpacking them on the PC then moving them to the desktop of basilisk....Followed your advice and this now works
