Hey all,

I got my eMac working with OS 9.2.2 and I am starting to use all of these old programs that I couldn't use before (because my mac was a 68k non power mac). I have a CD with Image Master on it and for some reason it doesn't seem to be working properly (after copying the program onto my Mac HD).

I drag a CD onto the program icon and it creates an image file no problems, but when I go to mount that image or convert it back to data I get an unexpected message saying that "This disk is unreadable by this Computer. Do you want to initialize the disk?" with the option to change the name, select the format and initialize or eject.

If i go through and rename the file, select a format (any) and select initialize then I will eventually get the message "Disk initialization failed because the disk is locked!" I'm not to sure as to what is going on here but I do have a sneaky suspicion that it has something to do with the way my hard drive is formatted (Mac OS Extended).

Is there a work around to this problem? Should I be using a newer/better program that does the same job? I'm open to suggestions. Thank you in advance for your time.
