You should probably ask people to reply to you using the Guestbook, rather than replying here, if it is the sort of application it sounds like.
Illegal are the serialboxes but not the reader (as least according to my understanding), because the reader without boxes is just a reader that can't violate copyrights.

Would they still be considered illegal on abandonware or are we entering a grey area? If a house was abandoned, would it matter if you found a set a keys for the door locks? Hmmmm.....

I wasn't saying "Who cares" nor was I suggesting to host them. It was more of a philosophical question for discussion, please don't misunderstand my comment.
I don't think you should go that deep regarding this software. Some abandonware needs license codes - I want to be able to read them on OS 9 for convenience sake.
